2009 – Named to MVC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete team ... finished 20th at MVC Championships (19:41) ... placed fifth at Bradley Open (18:26) ... finished 13th at Indiana Intercollegiates (18:42.4), 17th at Bradley Invitational (22:56), and 117th at Great Lakes Region (22:34.40).

2008 – Placed 13th overall and second on team at MVC Championships with a 5K time of 18:26.49 ... finished 105th at Great Lakes Regional with a 6K time of 23:21.6.

Indoor Track & Field –

2010 – Competed in 800 meters, mile, and 3,000 meters ... ran third fastest mile in school history of 4:48.40 at Wisconsin Badger Elite ... ran personal best 2:18.37 in 800 meters at EIU Friday Night Special and season best 10:23.55 in 3,000 meters at Iowa State Classic ... placed seventh in mile at MVC Indoor Championships (5:03.75) ... anchored distance medley relay team that placed sixth at MVC Indoor Championships.

2009 – Competed in 800 meters, mile and 3,000 meters ... had best time on team in mile with a personal best of 5:03.15 set at Tiger Invitational ... placed eighth in mile at MVC Indoor Championships (5:04.39).

Outdoor Track & Field –

2010 – Competed in 1,500 meters ... ran personal best 4:40.16 at Tom Botts Invitational ... named to MVC Track & Field Scholar-Athlete team ... member distance medley relay team that ran 11:56.60 at Sea Ray Relays (fifth best in school history).

2009 – Competed in 800 meters, 1,500 meters and 5,000 meters ... had second best time on team in 1,500 meters (4:40.20) set at Missouri Quadrangular ... finished 10th in 800 meters at MVC Outdoor Championships (2:16.91).

Kacie Klem was born on Feb. 22, 1990, in Jasper, Ind., the daughter of Doug and Beth Klem ... Open Preference major ... interests include reading, listening to music, camping and hiking ... uncle, Kurt Klem, ran cross country at Evansville.
