2012 – Ran personal best 5K time of 18:34 to place 29th at MVC Championships … ran personal best 6K time of 22:48 to place 91st at Pre-National Invitational … best finish came at Bradley Open with three mile time of 18:02 to finish 12th … also finished 21st at Indiana Intercollegiate (18:56), 40th at Notre Dame Invitational (18:36), and 143rd in 6K at Great Lakes Championship (22:54).

2011 – Ran a personal best 16:06 in 4K to place 16th at the Evansville Mid-America Opener … ran personal best 18:59 in 5K at Notre Dame Invitational in finishing 43rd … ran personal best 23:39 in 6K at the Great Lakes Region in placing 163rd.

Indoor Track & Field –

2013 – Ran career best 2:55.21 in 1000 meters at Meyo Invitational … had a season best 2:19.47 in winning the 800 meters at the EIU Friday Night Special … ran season best 5:01.68 in mile at Grand Valley State Big Meet … placed 28th at MVC Indoors in mile (5:19.18) … ran opening leg of distance medley relay team that placed sixth at MVC Indoors (12:14.79).

2012 – Named All-Conference in Distance Medley Relay … ran opening leg (1200 meters) of distance medley relay team that finished second at MVC Indoors in 11:52.82, fifth fastest time in school history … also competed in 800 meters and mile … ran career best 2:18.85 in 800 meters at EIU Friday Night Special … finished in career best 5:01.31 in mile at GVSU Big Meet … placed 17th in mile at MVC Indoors with time of 5:16.30.

Outdoor Track & Field –

2013 – Placed fifth in 3,000 meter steeplechase at MVC Championship (10:59.07) … ran collegiate best (4:40.92) in 1500 meters at MVC Championship; placing 14th … ran collegiate best (2:20.85) in 800 meters at Jesse Owens Track Classic.

2012 – Named All-Conference in 3,000 meter steeplechase … ran school record time in 3,000 meter steeplechase at MVC Outdoors, finishing third in 10:47.31 … ran career best 4:41.00 in 1,500 meters in winning event at Billy Hayes Invitational … ran career best 7:05.24 in 2,000 meter steeplechase at EIU-ISU Ice Dual … ran opening leg of 4x800 relay that finished in 9:26.68 at EIU Big Blue Classic … named to MVC Track & Field Scholar Athlete Team.

Before ISU –

Transferred to Indiana State from Mississippi State University where she competed in cross country and track & field … had personal best times in cross country of 19:02 (5K) and 24:36 (6K) … had personal best times in track & field of 5:14.45 (Indoor mile), 4:42.01 (Outdoor 1,500 meters), and 11:19.65 (3,000 Steeplechase) … was named All-SEC Academic as a freshman and sophomore.

Attended James B. Conant High School where she earned eight varsity letters in cross country and track & field … two-time All-State cross country team member … member third place state championship team … was conference and regional champion … named All-Conference, All-Regional, All-Sectional, All-State, and All-Area Runner Athlete of the Year … named Most Valuable Player in cross country and track & field … was captain three years … set several school records including 2:14.4 in 800 meters, 5:01.01 in 1600 meters, 11:08 in 3200 meters, 17:13 in three-mile, and was member of recording setting 4x800 meter relay team … member of National Honor Society and National Art Honor Society … Peer Jury and Junior Class Council … Honor Roll student … perfect attendance and All-Academic Senior … 2004 Cross Country Junior Olympic qualifier … placed third in 2006 Distance Gala in 800 meters.

Kalli Ann Dalton was born on December 30, 1990, in Oak Lawn, Ill., the daughter of Tracy and Edward Dalton … majoring in Special Education/Elementary Education at Indiana State with plans to teach high school special education … mother (Tracy) played basketball and ran track at University of Wisconsin-Stout … SAAC representative at Indiana State.
