As a Freshman (2013):

Appeared in 34 games for the Sycamores in her freshman campaign, starting 19, primarily as an outfielder...finished her freshman season with 12 hits, four doubles and a home run  with nine RBI's...Went 2-3 with three RBI's and two doubles on April 27 vs. Evansville.



Schreiner joins the Sycamore Program after being a four-year starter in softball at Ottumwa High School in Ottumwa, Iowa. During her junior season she boasted a .424 batting average and collected 56 hits while leading her team in RBI (54), HR (6), and doubles (13). She was a varsity stater at shortstop for her entire high school career as well as being the lead-off hitter. She was named First Team All-Conference CIML Metro, was a member of the 4A All-District Team, and 4A First Team All-State. Schreiner was named Player of the Game at the 2011 18U Fast Nationals.  Schreiner is also first in CIML conference for RBI's and fourth in runs scored, doubles and home runs.



Her parents are Christy Schreiner and Randy Schreiner and she has a younger sister Kaleigh. Plans to major in biology...enjoys reading.
