TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - Fresh off the a 35-19 regular season, the most successful for any first-year head coach in Indiana State baseball history, head coach Rick Heller and the Indiana State baseball coaching staff have announced a pair of camps for the 2010 summer.
First, the Sycamore baseball staff will host the Rick Heller Baseball Camp for youth, ages 8-12, at newly renovated Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium. The Rick Heller Baseball Camp will span three days, from June 28-30, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and finishing at 12:00 p.m. each day. Those youth that attend the camp will work on all areas of the game, including fielding, throwing, defense, pitching, and base running. The cost of the camp is $100 with all those attending receiving a t-shirt along with camp instruction.
The baseball staff will also be holding a Prospect Camp for players currently in high school. The Prospect Camp will also be held at Bob Warn Field at Sycamore Stadium, taking place on June 23. Check back to the Baseball page of GoSycamores.com at a later date when a camp flyer will be available.
