Women’s 6-Kilometer Race: Noon • Men’s 10-Kilometer Race: 1 p.m.

 

 

 

Indiana State University men’s and women’s cross country programs will host the 2014 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s National Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 22.

 

The LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, cited by many as the top cross country course in the nation, will serve as the site of the championship races for the 10th time in the last 12 years, which consist of a 6-kilometer race for the women and a 10-kilometer race for the men.

 

The women’s race will start at noon (ET) with the men’s race to follow at 1 p.m. (ET).

 

Parking/Admission Information

 

• There is a $10.00 per person admission fee.

 

• There is no charge for parking at the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center.

 

• Spectator admission into the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center begins at 9 a.m. (ET).

 

Spectator Directions

 

• From Indianapolis: Take Interstate 70 West to Exit 11; proceed north on U.S. 40 (formerly S.R. 46) approximately 2.3 miles to S.R. 42 East (third stoplight); proceed east on S.R. 42 approximately 4.2 miles to intersection with Swalls Road; you will be directed to follow Swalls Road or S.R. 42 to the NCAA Championship course site depending on traffic and parking availability; enter through the Spectator Gate.
