2011 – Set school record for 10K with a 30:38 finish at the Great Lakes Region Championships, finishing 16th overall to earn All-Region honors … named All-Conference after finishing fourth at MVC Championships with time of 25:19 … placed 13th at Indiana Intercollegiates (25:17), 40th at ISU Pre-National Invitational (25:03) and 127th at Notre Dame Invitational (25:49) … named MVC Scholar-Athlete.

2010 – Finished fourth at MVC Championships (24:54) … named All-Conference for second straight year … finished sixth at Indiana Intercollegiates (24:53), 43rd at Notre Dame Invitational (24:43) … 66th at ISU Pre-Nationals (24:44), and 49th at Great Lakes Regional (31:35).

2009 – Named All-Great Lakes Region by finishing 23rd with a time of 31:39.85, the 10th fastest 10K time in ISU history … named All-Missouri Valley Conference with 10th place finish at MVC Championships (26:28) … named to MVC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete team … led team at Bradley Open with second place finish (24:35), the sixth fastest 8K time in ISU history … finished 11th at Indiana Intercollegiates (25:26.7), 66th at Notre Dame Invitational (24:56), and 114th at Pre-Nationals (25:22.5).

2008 – Ran a season best 25:30 in the Pre-Nationals Open Race … placed 22^nd at the MVC Championships (26:04.80) … finished 21^st at the Indiana Intercollegiates (26:16) … was 11^th at Bradley Open (26:05).

Indoor Track & Field –

2012 - Competed in mile, 3,000 meters, and 5,000 meters ... ran season best 4:22.41 in mile at Indiana State-Illinois State Dual Meet ... had season best 8:23.78 in 3,000 meters at GVSU Big Meet ... ran season best 14:35.60 in 5,000 meters at Meyo Invitational ... placed 10th in 5,000 meters and 12th in 3,000 meters at MVC Indoors.

2011 – Competed in mile, 3,000 meters, and 5,000 meters … ran personal best 14:30.17 in 5,000 meters at Meyo Invitational, the second fastest time in school history … ran personal best 8:18.53 in 3,000 meters at Wisconsin Elite Invitational, the sixth fastest in school history … ran personal best 4:16.58 in mile at Edmonds Cup.

2010 – Competed in mile, 3,000, and 5,000 meters … ran personal best 4:24.28 in mile at Wisconsin Elite, 8:33.22 in 3,000 meters at Iowa State Classic, and 14:43.34 in 5,000 meters (eighth best in school history) at MVC Indoors in placing sixth.

2009 – Competed in 1,000 meters, mile, 3,000 meters and 5,000 meters … had team’s second best time in 1,000 meters (2:39.19 on Dec. 12).

Outdoor Track & Field –

2012 - Became ISU’s first double winner at MVC Outdoor Championships since 2006 with wins in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters ... won MVC Outdoor 10,000 meter title in 31:23.53 ... won MVC Outdoor 5,000 meter title with 11th fastest time in school history of 14:37.19 ... set school record in 10,000 meters at 29:38.70 in finishing 12th at Mt. SAC Relays ... competed in 10,000 meters at NCAA East, finishing 26th in 31:07.45 ... ran career best 3:54.41 in 1,500 meters at Pacesetter Quadrangular.

2011 – Competed in 1,500, 5,000, and 10,000 meters … ran season best times of 4:12.66 in 1,500 meters, 14:58.56 in 5,000 meters, and 32:16.93 in 10,000 meters.

2010 – Competed in 1,500, 3,000, 5,000, and 10,000 meters … ran personal best 30:39.56 in 10,000 meters (sixth best in school history) at Sea Ray Relays … ran personal best 14:48.72 in 5,000 meters at ISU Quadrangular, 8:33.84 in 3,000 meters at Tom Botts Invitational, and 3:57.71 in 1,500 meters at Drake Relays … placed fourth in 10,000 meters in 31:32.09 and sixth in 5,000 meters in 14:52.05 at MVC Outdoors.

2009 – Competed in 3,000 meters, 5,000 meters and 10,000 meters … had team’s second best time in 10,000 meters in finishing fifth at MVC Championships with time of 31:18.78.

Before ISU –

Lettered four years in cross country and four years in track … named All-State twice in cross country and All-State twice in track … was MVP of cross country team three times and MVP of track team twice … two time conference MVP in cross country and two time conference MVP in track … accumulated 11 sectional championships, two regional championships and 14 All-NIC honors at Mishawaka High School.

Personal –

Craig Michael Padgett was born on Aug. 31, 1989, in Elkhart, Ind., the son of Chris Padgett and Monica Currey … majoring in Exercise Science/Nutrition at Indiana State … interests watching “Scrubs” and listening to pop music … sister, Courtney, is a member of the women’s cross country team.
