Indiana State Announces 2011 Football Schedule

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Indiana State football team, under the direction of fourth-year head coach Trent Miles has announced the 2011 schedule as well as season ticket prices for the upcoming season.

The 11-game slate will begin on September 3 at Penn State as the Sycamores begin the season against a Big 10 opponent. The five-game home portion of the schedule will begin on September 10 when ISU hosts Butler. The game will kick-off at 2:05 p.m. (ET) inside Memorial Stadium. ISU will play its third and final non-conference game at Western Kentucky on September 17.

The Sycamores start Missouri Valley Football Conference play on September 24 when Youngstown State travels to Memorial Stadium. Kickoff is set for 2:05 p.m. ISU then travels to South Dakota State for the annual Beef Bowl on October 1 before also heading to Northern Iowa on October 8.

The annual Homecoming contest is set for October 15 when the Sycamores host Western Illinois. Kick-off is set for 3:05 p.m. ISU will travel to Illinois State on October 22 before enjoying a bye weekend. ISU plays two of its final three regular season games at home beginning with North Dakota State on November 5. The Sycamores travel to Missouri State on November 12 and the season concludes on November 19 at home when Southern Illinois comes to town.

A season ticket will cost $45 in 2011. Faculty/Staff and Senior Citizens can purchase season tickets for $40. Members of the I-Club can purchase season tickets for $35. Youth tickets are available for those ages 6-18 for only $15. The popular family season ticket package is available as well for $102 and includes a pair of adult and youth season tickets.

Tickets to road contests at Penn State are also available for $70 while the Western Kentucky game will cost $15.
