The Missouri Valley Conference’s Player of the Week for the week of April 27, Shoemaker’s numbers are among the best in the conference this season.  He currently ranks first in the league in total bases (109), on base percentage (.505) and walks (35) and is second among all players in the Valley in batting average (.384), runs scored (51), home runs (10) and slugging percentage (.665).
