It will mark the seventh consecutive year the two teams have met as they did not meet in the 2005-06 season. However, the two teams have met in each season except 2005-06 since the inception of the Sycamores’ program in 1971-72. ISU holds a 33-22 record in action against the Panthers.
All-Time Series History
The Sycamores lead the all-time series, 33-22. ISU has won six of the last seven matchups including a 69-39 win in the 2012-13 season opener at the Hulman Center. Head Coach Teri Moren is 2-1 in her ISU career against the Panthers.

Junior college transfer Jasmine Grier led with eight rebounds as ISU also forced 23 turnovers and picked up 12 steals.
Five In A Row
Saturday’s season opener win over South Alabama marks the fifth-consecutive opening day win for the Sycamores. ISU improved to 15-16 in game one of the regular season since the 1982-83 season.
Senior guard Anna Munn is on pace to become the 27th player in Indiana State women’s basketball history to score 1,000 points. Currently, the senior from Indianapolis, Ind. and preseason All-MVC selection has amassed 956 points just one game into her final season.
