TERRE HAUTE, Ind.—Junior's Shelby Wilson and Morgan Allee each received All-Missouri Valley Conference honors for their efforts during the 2012-13 season the league office announced Wednesday.
"Shelby is one of the hardest working players I have coached," head coach Shane Bouman said. "She is versatile, a great competitor and one who loves being pushed to be her best. Morgan Loves athletics and I feel she would spend every second at the ballpark if she could. She has traits that do not come around too often. We all are very lucky these two Sycamores are back next season. Both are very deserving of All-MVC honors."
Wilson was named first team All-MVC at third base where she primarly played during the Sycamores 50 games this season. Allee was named second team All-MVC at short stop where she played during every game. Allee was also named MVC Co-Newcomer of the year, the first Sycamore to ever receive the award.
