The Sycamores finish their nonconference season with an 8-3 record, the best mark among teams from the Missouri Valley Conference.

Indiana State took a 26-23 lead into the halftime locker room, closing the opening 20 minutes on an 11-2 run. Senior Taylor Whitley capped the first-half run, sinking a jumper as the buzzer sounded.

Sophomore Racheal Mahan led Indiana State in the first half, totaling nine points and three rebounds.
