TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Indiana State men's basketball team will be featured on national television a minimum of eight times in 2012-13 in both non-conference action as well as part of the Missouri Valley Conference's television package.

"I have to commend the work of the Missouri Valley Conference staff, including Doug Elgin and Jack Watkins, who has worked tirelessly to make the league as successful and as attractive to our national television partners as it has become throughout the years," head coach Greg Lansing said. "The ability to have nearly a third of our regular season games on national television is huge for our program in every way imaginable. We are excited to be able to showcase our program to the nation all season long as part of the league's telecast package on Fox Sports, Comcast and the ESPN Family Of Networks."

Indiana State's season opener at UCLA on November 9 will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Net with tip-off at 11:00 p.m. (ET). ISU will then appear three times on the ESPN Family of Networks during play in the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic from December 22-25.

The opener of the Diamond Head Classic will be shown live on ESPNU as well as ESPN 3 on December 22 against Ole Miss. Tip-off is slated for 5:00 p.m. (ET). The second round game on December 23 against either San Diego State or San Francisco will also be on ESPNU & ESPN 3 at 4 or 6:00 p.m. (ET).

ISU's final game in the Diamond Head Classic will be shown on Christmas Day at a time to be determined based on the results of the first two days of action on either ESPN 2, ESPNU or ESPN 3.

The Sycamores' first MVC contest of the year on the league's television package will be the home game against Evansville on January 19 with tip-off set for 8:05 p.m. (ET). The game against the Purple Aces will be shown on Fox Sports Net (FSN Indiana locally) as well as ESPN 3 outside of the MVC's footprint.

Indiana State at Drake will be featured on Fox Sports Net and ESPN 3 (subject to location restrictions) on February 2 and will tip-off at 7:30 p.m. (ET).

On February 12, the league's cameras will showcase the Sycamores in action at Missouri State in a game set to begin at 8:00 p.m. The game versus the Bears will be shown on Fox Sports Net and ESPN 3 (subject to location restrictions).

The Sycamores' scheduled appearances will wrap up on February 19 when ISU hosts Wichita State at 7:05 p.m. (ET) in a telecast that will be exclusively shown on ESPN 3.

Other potential appearances for the Sycamores include Bracketbusters weekend on February 22 or 23 as the league has several broadcasts windows available on the ESPN Family of Networks through the scheduling concept. ESPN will announce their broadcast selections and matchups on January 29, 2013.

The MVC will also use a Wildcard selection process for the games of March 2 with one league game slated to appear on either ESPN or ESPN 2 and another to be selected for broadcast on Fox Sports Net and ESPN 3. The league will announce their Wildcard Selections on February 8, 2013.

Additionally, each of the league's first eight games in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will be shown live on Fox Sports Net and ESPN 3 with the championship game slated for broadcast on CBS on March 10.

Still be determined is the Sycamores' local television broadcast package on WTWO and WAWV. All Indiana State home games not shown as part of the league's telecast package plus other select road conference contests will be broadcast live on Sycamore Vision, which is a pay-per-view broadcast service provided by GoSycamores.com.
