Strength & Conditioning Coaches
Dave McMannus, MS, USAW, CSCS
Entering his fifth year as Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Dave McMannus was a graduate assistant at Indiana State University while earning a Master’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Coaching.
In addition to his work with the Sycamores, Dave also worked with the Chicago Bears in the Strength and Conditioning department in 2007 and with the Indianapolis Colts Strength and Conditioning staff in 2008.
Originally from Buffalo, N.Y., McMannus came to Indiana State in 2004 and went on to become a two-year letter winner for the Sycamores in football before earning a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2006. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA.
Second year Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Daniel Millington serves as an Assistant Strength Coach with Football as well as designing and implementing the Strength and Conditioning programs for Men's and Women's Basketball, and the Sycamore Pole Vaulters. He is also currently pursuing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
Daniel spent one year at Villanova University as a Paid Intern Assistant in the Strength and Conditioning Department. At Villanova he assisted with the Football and Baseball teams as well as designing and implementing the Strength and Conditioning programs for Volleyball, Track and Field, Swimming and Diving, Women's Soccer, Water Polo, and Cheerleading.
A 2010 graduate of Indiana State University, Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Strength and Conditioning. While at Indiana State, he was a four-time letter winner on the Sycamore Football team. He was awarded the Team Leadership award in 2007 and was Defensive Team Captain as a senior in 2009. His senior year, Daniel was recognized nationally as a CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Second Team Academic All-American, FCS Athletic Directors Association Academic All-Star Team, and MVFC Second Team Academic All-Conference. In August of 2010, he received his certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the NSCA.
Daniel is a native of Terre Haute, Ind., and is the youngest of seven kids. He is married to former Sycamore volleyball player Stephanie Millington (formerly Meier) and they reside in Terre Haute, Indiana.
Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Daniel Watson is
in his second year at Indiana State and assists with Football and Basketball,
and is in charge of creating and administering the Strength and Conditioning
programs for the Softball, Women's Golf, and Dance teams. He is working
toward earning a Master’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in
Coaching, and a CSCS certification.
In his last year as an undergraduate student, Dan was an
assistant football coach for the North Putnam High School football team.
While there Dan worked with the offensive line and linebackers, and helped
coach the Cougars to their first State Championship appearance.
Daniel is a 2011 graduate of Marian University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus in Sports Performance. While at Marian, he was a four-year member of the inaugural football team on which he served as a team captain, and a member of the track team.
A native of Terre Haute, Ind., Daniel has two brothers, Darrell, and James, and is the son of Marguerite and William.
DuBose is in his second year as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at
Indiana State University. He serves as an Assistant Strength Coach for Football
as well as designing and implementing the Strength and Conditioning programs
for Track & Field, Multi-Eventers, Sprinters, and Indiana State
Cheerleading. He is currently pursuing his CSCS, and a Master’s degree at
Indiana State in Physical Education with a specialization in Coaching. He earned his USAW Level 1 Sports Performance certification in the summer of 2012.
In May 2011, Devin did a summer internship with Indiana State Strength & Conditioning where he assisted with the Football and Women's Soccer teams. Prior to that internship, Devin was the assistant Defensive Line/ Strength & Conditioning Coach for Saint Joseph's College football where he assisted in the implementation of weight training programs, aided in the instruction of all Olympic lifts, developed weekly defensive scheme, and helped coordinate the new 4-3 cover 4 defenses.
Devin played Professional football in the AFL for the Milwaukee Mustangs from December 2010 to March 2011. He is a 2010 graduate of Saint Joseph's College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology. While at Saint Joseph's College, he was a four-time letter winner on the SJC Puma Football team and was a two-year first team All-Conference selection.

Sara Cramer are the proud parents of daughter Faith Elizabeth Dubose.
Entering his second year as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Indiana State after volunteering for a year with the staff, Matthew Seliger is currently assisting with Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Cross Country, and Track & Field’s High, Triple, and Long jumpers. He is also studying to earn his CSCS.
Matthew is a 2011 graduate of Indiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He is currently working on a Master’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Coaching. A three-time letter winner on the Sycamore Football team, Matthew earned the President's Council Academic Excellence Award from the Missouri Valley Conference in the spring of 2011 for receiving Missouri Valley Football Honor Roll all four years.
Matthew is a Terre Haute, Ind., native, and an only child of Scott and Barbara Seliger.
In his first year as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Indiana State, Darrius Gates will be assisting with the Men’s Basketball, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Cheer and Dance teams. He is currently pursuing his CSCS, and a Master’s degree at Indiana State in Physical Education with a specialization in Coaching.
Darrius is a 2011 graduate of Indiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. A four-time letter winner on the Sycamore football team, Darrius earned several accolades including being named a 2010 First Team All-Missouri Valley Football Conference Running Back and a 2009 and 2010 Honorable Mention All-Missouri Valley Football Conference Return Specialist. He was voted Sycamore Football Offensive Captain by his teammates and currently holds several Sycamore rushing records.
