TERRE HAUTE, IND. – Four former student-athletes and a former Indiana State coach, who also competed as a student-athlete for the Sycamores, will be inducted into the 18th Class of the Indiana State Athletics Hall of Fame during induction ceremonies at The Ohio Building on February 13. The event is being sponsored by Old National Bank.
Festivities will begin with a reception at 10:30 a.m. followed by a brunch at 11:00 a.m. and the program starting at approximately 11:45 a.m. The inductees and current members of the Indiana State Athletics Hall of Fame will ALSO be honored during halftime ceremonies of the Indiana State vs. Drake men's basketball game in Hulman Center which starts at 2 p.m.

The five to be inducted into the 18th class of the Indiana State Athletics Hall of Fame include Bob Barker, who played men's basketball for ISU, Angie Bruecker (Martin), a record setting track & field athlete for the Sycamores, former track & field and cross country coach Bill Malloy, Debbie Styx (Peters), a standout softball player for Indiana State, and, David Wright, one of the best running backs in ISU football history.
