Second-year head coach Erika True will look to build off an impressive rookie campaign at the helm of the Indiana State University women's soccer program with the announcement of her first recruiting class with the Sycamores. The 2009 season saw the team earn four Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week selections, the most in school history, and tie a school record with five road results (three wins and two draws) in a single year.
"I am very excited to have this first recruiting class of ours come in this fall. For some of these players it has been almost a year since they made their verbal commitment to our program and this signing date finally seals the deal for them to "officially" become Sycamores," said head coach True. "We are looking forward to this class coming in and being a strong contributing factor to the success that we are looking to strive for this fall. Congratulations to all of our 2010 commitments!"

Comes to Indiana State after earning three varsity letters at Carmel High School ... helped lead Carmel to a semi-state appearance as a sophomore ... four year captain of her club team, the Carmel United Soccer Club ... member of three State Cup championships with CUSC.
"Ali comes to ISU from Carmel United Soccer Club where she has received training from some of the top coaches in the state. She is a very strong, athletic defender that has loads of potential. We expect her to come in and compete for playing time during her freshman campaign. Her energetic personality, constant desire for improvement and dedication to our program made her a great fit for our 2010 recruiting class."
Stacy Clough - Defender
Northville, Mich. / Northville
Member of the Vardar Soccer Club team, which won the 2009 and 2010 Michigan State Cup titles ... earned all-conference honorable mention while at Northville High School ... part of the Northville team that won both division and conference championships in 2009 ... club soccer teammate with fellow 2010 signee Autumn Jacobs.
"Stacy will bring a wealth of experience to ISU. She has competed at the top club level for many years as a part of Vardar's multiple state championship programs. She has the ability to play variety of roles because of some unique skill sets. We have high expectations for Stacy and feel like with the proper support she will develop into a solid player for ISU."
Haley Gaither - Defender / Midfielder
Washington, Ind. / Washington
Three-time all-conference selection while at Washington High School ... earned several awards as a senior, including: honorable mention all-state, second team all-state honors by the ICGSA and first team all-district by the ISCA ... was named Washington's Defensive Player of the Year last season.
"I have had the pleasure of working with Haley for years as her former club coach within the Bloomington Cutters Soccer Club. She is a very dedicated, hard-working player that is always striving for improvement. Haley was the first commitment to our 2010 class and laid the foundation for what has turned out to be a very strong recruiting class."
Kylie Greischar - Defender / Midfielder
Overland Park, Kan. / Blue Valley Northwest
A four year varsity member of the Blue Valley Northwest High School team ... part of the Blue Valley Stars Club team that has won the Kansas State Cup for six consecutive years ... during her time at Blue Valley Northwest, Greischar was named to the all-state, All-Eastern Kansas League and honorable mention all-metro teams.
"Kylie's commitment to ISU continues our streak of recruiting top-level players out of the Kansas City area. She has all the tools to immediately impact our program in the fall of 2010. We expect Kylie to dominate the middle of the park for us for the duration of her career. Blue Valley Stars Soccer Club has helped Kylie develop a great understanding of the game and passion to continue a successful career.
Alyssa Grell - Forward
Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley
Earned second team all-conference this past season at Cumberland Valley High School ... member of the Hersey Attack Soccer Club, which won the 2009 State Cup.
"We are excited to have Alyssa join our 2010 class. She will be a key component to this class, as she will bring some much needed versatility in our attack. Alyssa is a pacey, crafty forward that will bring a dynamic ability to our frontline. Her movement on and off the ball will create opportunities for her, along with the rest of her teammates. We are expecting great things from Alyssa and are looking forward to having her here in the fall."
Megan Hardesty - Midfielder / Forward
Ellettsville, Ind. / Edgewood
Tallied 31 goals and 13 assists last season in just 16 contests at Edgewood High School ... led the state in points per game (4.69), placed fourth in goals per game (1.94) and tied for seventh in assists per game (0.81) ... named to the all-conference team in all four seasons of her years at EHS ... was selected as the All-Area Player of the Year by the Herald Times.
"Megan is joining our program from just down the road where she completed a very successful, record-setting career for Edgewood High School. Her athleticism and ability to hold a ball with her back to goal will give her the ability to compete for playing time as a freshman. Megan has a ton of potential and we hope that in the right training environment that she will fully reach that potential."
Autumn Jacobs - Defender / Midfielder
Milan, Mich. / Saline
Earned all-district and all-conference honors while at Saline High School ... member of the Vardar Soccer Club team, which won the 2009 and 2010 Michigan State Cup titles ... club soccer teammate with fellow 2010 signee Stacy Clough.
"Autumn is going to significantly change the direction of this program in 2010. Her athleticism, ball winning ability, and versatility will allow her to play anywhere for the Sycamores. She will be joining her Vardar teammate, Stacy Clough, and will bring the same level of experience and commitment to our program. We think that Autumn has the potential to immediately be recognized as one of the top players in our conference."
Kayla Liffick - Defender / Midfielder
Terre Haute, Ind. / Terre Haute South Vigo
Four year varsity starter at Terre Haute South Vigo High School ... earned all-county selection after each season and named to the all-conference team twice ... played club soccer with the Terre Haute Flyers for three seasons, helping the squad finish in second place in the league in 2009.
"Kayla is a home-grown player from Terre Haute and immediately caught our attention with her pace and sheer athleticism. Kayla strikes a fantastic ball with both feet and will likely play wide for the Sycamores in 2010. We are happy to see local talent develop to a level that is capable of helping our soccer program create success."
Libby Prickel - Midfielder / Forward
Cincinnati, Ohio / Ursuline Academy
A two year varsity starter while at Ursuline Academy ... played four years of club soccer with Classics Hammer FC.
"We are hoping that Libby comes in and immediately impacts our frontline. She is an athletic forward that we fully expect to score goals in 2010. Libby possesses a strong work rate and the ability to defend up front that will certainly help put pressure on opposing team's back line. We expect her to be a key contributor in our success for the next four years."
Taylor Reed - Defender
Rockford, Ill. / Boylan Central Catholic
Earned first team all-conference three times while at Boylan Central Catholic High School ... named to the all-sectional team once ... played club soccer for the Rockford Dactyls, where she was honored as the team captain last season.
"Taylor is a very gifted central midfield player coming to us from the Rockford Dactyls F.C. She has great vision in the middle of the park that, combined with a great work-rate, will allow her to immediately contribute next season. We feel like she has the ability to play multiple roles for us and will only continue to improve due to her passion for the game and strong soccer mentality."
Brianna Supulski - Goalkeeper
Carrollton, Texas / Hebron
Three year starter on the Hebron High School team that reached a #1 national ranking in 2008 and 2009 ... led Hebron to District 6-5A championships in 2008 and 2009 ... selected as a 2009 Texas District 6-5A First Team Goalkeeper ... played club soccer with Solar '92, where she competed in the Division I Lake Highlands Girl's Classic League, Region III Premier League and Red Bull National League.

Lettered for four years while at Elida High School ... named to first team all-conference three times, while also earning second team all-state selection as a senior ... played club soccer with the Cleveland Internationals, who won State Cup titles in 2008 and 2009.
"Shelby comes to us from a very strong Internationals Soccer Club out of Cleveland, Ohio. Her dedication to drive 2.5 hours to training 3-4 times a week shows a great amount of dedication in her continued efforts to evolve her soccer ability. We hope that she brings that same desire to the ISU soccer field this fall. Shelby's ability to be a strong ball winner, powerful defender and a natural leader are attributes that we look forward to incorporating into our 2010 team."
Rebekka Wittkamp - Midfielder
Hoffman Estates, Ill. / Schaumburg
Played club soccer with Sockers FC Chicago over the past nine seasons ... lettered for two seasons at Schaumburg High School ... earned selection to the all-area tournament team following her sophomore season.
"Rebekka has the potential to grow into a great student-athlete for the Sycamores over her next four years. Her strong, athletic frame gives her the ability to be one of the best players in the 2010 recruiting class with the ball at her feet. She is very good in tight spaces and deals well with pressure in the middle of the park. Bekka is a player that is going to benefit largely from a consistent training environment and having talented players around her."
