Indiana State baseball head coach Lindsay Meggs and his staff will give local high-school athletes the opportunity to learn what it takes to play Division I collegiate baseball when they hold their 2008 High School Advanced Camp on Saturday, October 12, at Sycamore Field in Terre Haute.
The camp is open to participants in grades 9-12 and will begin at 10 a.m. and run until approximately 4 p.m. The day will begin with one-on-one drill and instructions with the coaching staff and will conclude with live games in the afternoon.
Cost of the camp is $125 per participant and includes lunch. There will also be a section for pitchers only beginning at 12:30 p.m. with a reduced fee of $75. All participants must bring their own equipment with them to the camp (glove, bats, batting gloves, hats, etc.) and check in at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the camp.
