Fall Prospect Showcase – Oct. 8-9
The Fall Prospect Showcase is a great opportunity for high school baseball players grades 9-12 to be seen not only by ISU head coach Mitch Hannahs and staff, but by many other Division I schools throughout the Midwest. Prospects will be able to participate in a pro-style workout and have the chance to compete in a live game against other prospects. Following the camp, prospects will be able to gauge their success with the Sycamore Skills Rankings that each player will receive to see how they stack up against their peers as well as against current Sycamores.
Position players will receive the pro-style workout (which includes the 60-yard dash), position defensive instruction, on-field batting practice, a skills workout and a live game. Pitchers, meanwhile, will go through the pitchers workshop and go through the live game. All participants will receive a free T-shirt.
The Fall Prospect Showcase is divided into four sessions: a morning and afternoon session each on Sat., Oct. 8, and Sun., Oct. 9.
Each session serves as its own separate camp and costs $175 per player. Participants are required to designate a primary position, but those who would also like to list a secondary position will need to pay an extra $75 due to time constraints. Spots are open to all high school students grades 9-12, but are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Prospects must also bring their own gear (glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, running/turf shoes, hat, or any other equipment deemed necessary). Catchers must bring their own gear.
