COLUMBIA, Mo. – Indiana State men's and women's track and field will hit the road for Missouri this weekend for the 18th annual Tom Botts Invite, which will be held Friday and Saturday at Mizzou's Walton Stadium.

Mizzou will play host to four other schools in addition to Indiana State for a scored meet this weekend: Missouri State (women only), Northern Iowa, Southern Illinois and Saint Louis. After hosting a handful of Missouri Valley teams at home last week, this week in Columbia should give the Sycamores a further preview of the conference championship meet with the inclusion of the Bears, Panthers and Salukis this weekend. The scoring format will be 10-8-6-4-2-1.

The Sycamore men and women are coming off a home sweep of the team titles at the Gibson Invite last week, where the weather finally cooperated again to help ISU to several impressive performances.

Chief among them was a career-day for senior All-American hurdler Adarius Washington, who won the 110-meter hurdles on what was then the No. 3 time in both the NCAA and United States this season at a wind-legal 13.59 seconds. Washington currently ranks No. 4 in the NCAA (No. 3 in the NCAA East Region) and tied for No. 6 in the US this season.

Competition Friday night will be light and will mainly feature the distance events, as well as the men's and women's hammer throw. Men's hammer will kick things off at 5:30 p.m. ET.
