AVON, Ind. -- The Indiana State women's golf program follows up a busy week of long travel to Texas by staying close to home on Monday and Tuesday as they take part in the Butler Spring Invitational. The event will be held at the Prestwick Golf Club, which is a par-71, 6,085-yard lay-out near Indianapolis.
The Sycamores will be competing against host Butler, IUPUI, Loyola, Wittenberg and Cleveland State. The Butler Spring Invitational will be hosting an event for both men and women concurrently.
Marissa Uradomo leads the way for the Sycamores as she is averaging a score of 75.3 per round. That total ranks in the Top 10 among all individuals in the Missouri Valley Conference. Thilda Staubo boasts an 80.2 scoring average and now has a pair of Top 20 finishes in her career. Sophie Benetti has put together an average of 80.6 per round and carded a career-best score of 72 last week in Dallas. Benetti has three career Top 20 finishes.
The Butler Spring Invitational will begin at 10 a.m. (ET) on Monday and then at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Tuesday.
