SCOUTING THE BRAVES
The Braves arrive in Terre Haute after a 54-49 defeat at the hands of Illinois State on Friday night. Their lone conference loss of the season came against Wichita State on Jan. 17 (50-44) and have lost seven of their last eight. Bradley is led by sophomore guard Anneke Schlueter (10.7 ppg., 2.5 rpg.) and redshirt junior forward Whitney Tinjum (9.3 ppg., 4.0 rpg.). Junior guard Leti Lerma leads on the boards with 6.0 rebounds per game while redshirt senior Kat Yelle has dished out 52 total assists (3.25 per game). The Braves bring in the league's fourth best scoring defense, allowing 63.4 points per game. As a team, they average 57.5 points per game and shoot 34.9 percent from the floor.
HAVE YOU A DAY, T. WEBB
Freshman guard Tierra Webb put on a performance as she scored the first five points in Friday night's win over Loyola en route to a new career-high 19 points. The Richton Park, Ill. native grabbed four rebounds, added two assists and committed zero turnovers in her second career start and 25 minutes of work. Webb is the only freshman to have played in all 17 games of the season.
SMITH GETS FIRST START THIS SEASON
Junior forward Rhagen Smith earned her first start of the season as Indiana State defeated Loyola on Friday night. The Sullivan, Ind. native posted 10 points for her fourth double-digit performance of the season while also adding seven rebounds, four of which were offensive.
JOYEA WORKS THE BOARDS
Redshirt junior forward Joyea Marshall crashed the boards again on Friday night as she pulled down 11 rebounds in the win over Loyola. It marked the fourth time in five games she's notched 10-plus rebounds and leads the team with 8.1 per game this season. Marshall had a career-high 17 rebounds in the Jan. 10 win over Illinois State.
WINNING AT HOME
Indiana State holds a lengthy home win streak over the Braves as it has won every meeting since 1997 in Hulman Center. The Sycamores also hold the second longest active win streak over another conference opponent, winning seven straight over the Braves.
HOME SWEET HOME
Thanks to the home-court advantage of Hulman Center, the Sycamores have been dominant in Terre Haute over the past 13 seasons. Since the 2002-03 season, Indiana State is 135-46 (.745) and are 5-4 at home in 2015-16.
BLOCK THAT SHOT
Redshirt junior forward Kelsey Dirks posted two more blocks in the win over Loyola and moved her into a tie for 8th in a single season with 32 total blocks. She ties Shannon Thomas (08-09) in the eighth spot and needs five more to tie Laura Rudolphi's 37 she posted in back-to-back seasons from 2005-07.
UP NEXT
The Sycamores hit the road for another Valley road swing at Southern Illinois (Friday, 7 p.m. ET) and Evansville (Sunday, 12 p.m. ET). Both games will be live on The Valley on ESPN3.
