TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The Indiana State Sycamores are continuing preparations for the 2011 campaign and will host the annual Blue/White Scrimmage on Saturday, August 20 at Memorial Stadium. Kickoff for the scrimmage will be at Noon (ET).
ISU is coming off a 6-5 season in 2010 and a third place finish in the Missouri Valley Football Conference. The Sycamores received votes in The Sports Network/Fathead.com Top 25 Preseason Poll announced earlier this week.
Admission to the Blue/White Scrimmage is free and open to the general public. The Blue/White Scrimmage is a traditional scrimmage in which players and coaches get to showcase their talent and hard work while giving fans a chance to interact and get to know the Sycamore staff and players.
The Sycamores will open the 2011 season on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Penn State in a game that will also kickoff at Noon (ET). The game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network.
