TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Senior defensive end Daniel Millington has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V First Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced.

With his selection to the all-district first team, Millington advances to the national ballot for ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-America awards.

A graduate of Terre Haute North Vigo High School, Millington carries a 3.91 grade-point average in exercise science. He was named to the league honor rolls by the Gateway Conference and Missouri Valley Football Conference the past two seasons. In addition, Millington earned the Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award in 2008-09.

Football Academic All-Americans will be announced later in the month of November by CoSIDA.
