TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State University Director
of Athletics Ron Prettyman announced today (August 7) a joint venture between
Sycamore Athletics, Nelligan Sports Marketing and Crossroads Communications to
carry Sycamore Women's Basketball for the 2008-09 season.
“We
are pleased to enter this partnership with Crossroads Communications,”
Prettyman said. “Our Women's Basketball program has experienced so much success
in recent years that this is the perfect time to enhance our radio
coverage. We look forward to many years of quality broadcasts as we take
this giant step forward.”
The
entire Indiana State Women's Basketball slate will air on The Crock 92.7 FM. In
the event of a conflict with either a Sycamore football or men's basketball
broadcast, the women's game will move to ESPN Radio 1130/1300 AM.

to live audio of the games on the internet will also be found on
GoSycamores.com well in advance of each game. Live internet audio will also be
found on either www.crock927.com or
www.espnsportsradio.com.
Along
with the entire line up of game action, a weekly half-hour show featuring ISU
Women's Basketball head coach Jim Wiedie will air on ESPN Radio.

Women's Basketball shows our commitment to athletics and the local community,”
Doug Edge, General Manager of Crossroads Communications said.
The
broadcast date and time of the weekly coaches' show as well the composition of
the Sycamore Women's Basketball Radio Broadcast Team will be announced in the
near future.
The
2008-09 ISU Women's Basketball campaign begins on November 1 with an exhibition
contest against the University of Indianapolis.
